It's been almost a month since I got my runner ducks, they love being outside in their run in the little pond all day. Dont even want to come in at dark:30. My question is ,when can I let them just move in to the duck run/coop for good? They don't have feathers on their backs, but do have some on the chests,tails and wings. They hate being inside, but I'm worried it might get too cold at night, even if I run a cord and keep the heat lamp on them. Keep in mind I'm in Alabama and it's in the 80s days and 50 - low 60s at night. Any insight?

Wait until they are fully feathered or the temps don't go below 70° at night.

Yeah, first ducks. We had Mallards when I was a kid back in NM. But the were broody ducks raising ducklings.
