You could do a race if there was enough training!

Thanks! Maybe I will eventually. I’ve just never really run before.

As he approached his fiftieth birthday, my couch potato son decided that he would run a marathon. He went for a physical to get a health clearance and started on a training program that he got over the internet. In 2015 the Princes and I went to Disney in Fla, and he and our daughter ran the marathon, and grand daughter ran the half. He continues to run - only halfs now. Daughter and SIL run marathons, halfs, and mini triathalons. SIL just jumped off the Cape May/Lewes fairy last week end doing a mini tri.

Wow that is awesome!! Maybe I could do it then!!

If you see me running, something bad is chasing me.

:lau how I feel when bees chase me

:thumbsup

Good for them!

My Mom is like that! I only saw her run once, when my Brother fell into the creek!

OMG was he okay!?

Yes! My Mom pulled him up out of the water and he said: "What took you so long". He had been holding his breath the whole time.

He was likely 3 at the time

Thank you IM! You too!!
I took Mom to have carpel tunnel surgery on her left hand yesterday. It was done under local and she is doing great.
I left the chicks with full access to their brooder/run and the main coop with the main coop pop door open so the bigs could come in or the littles could go out.
When I got home, the one brave band of 6 littles was in the compost bin! Fun getting them back in.
I've had both my wrists done; awake both times trying not to watch but somehow having to.
Carpel tunnel syndrome can be very painful. I spent nights with my arms hanging over the edge of my bed trying to get the blood to flow to my hands.

No pictures cause it’s nothing special but bison burgers and a sweet potato for lunch today. Still have more bison and sweet potatoes as well as regular ground beef if anyone wants.

I had a bison burger only once when I was a kid. I was a finicky city kid & it was too gamey for me. My dad was more than happy to eat mine plus his, so it must've been pretty good. :lau Thank Heaven for dads! :wee
