Thanks guys, life is very crazy sometimes.

I took a 3 hour nap today so I'm baking NFCs Hummingbird Cake tonight instead of waiting until morning and watching Ancient Aliens. Boy does the cake smell delicious! I'll leave it out for anyone who wants a piece to help themselves.

Interesting day today. I found out my half sister, who I was aware of but don't know, lives in AZ on the other side of town. Didn't know her name or anything but DNA done by my cousins kids seems to have found her. Not sure how I feel about that.

Waiting on pins and needles for biopsy results for my mom, should have some news by Tuesday night. I'm not going to sleep, I can feel it. I'm even thinking about a cup of coffee at this point.

Are you going to go and check her out IM?

Coffee is made.
Fudge came back to the house yesterday evening in time to avoid the late evening bickering. I had to knock up a bit of a perch on the nest box for her. She's definitely got some damage to her eye. She's opening in it a lot more but seems a bit confused by what she sees. I would take her to Gloria the vet but there isn't much more a vet can do with eye problems.

IM, I hope that the biopsy results come back good and if you decide to meet your half sister, that you two click and become friends. But you'll never know if you don't reach out.

I ran into an old friend of mine who I met about 12 years ago when I would jog around the fields while my 3 Dobermans free ran. She had a 2 month old black lab puppy, Bear, that my black Dobie, Dylan, showed how to be a dog, Doberman style. Bear would trot along with Dylan in doggie worship every time we met to run the dogs together. Bear and Dylan are both gone now.
She has a new black lab puppy. We met last night to run the dogs because she wants Ben to teach the new puppy the way Dylan taught Bear. Ben ain't no Dylan! And the puppy ain't no Bear! I wish her the best!! She's gonna need it.
