Okay obviously I am not going to get a pig right now but I couldn’t resist looking on Craigslist and so many cute ones. :hit :love but I am planning on moving out soon so can’t get one and even if I wasn’t, want to get quail and/or a dog first. But they’re so cute. Although I gotta admit I don’t really like the hairless look/feel when they’re older :hide hairless pets like cats, dogs, etc. always kinda freaked me out a little bit. Idk why. I think it’s cause it looks and feels weird to pet. But they sure are cute.

Although that said I am assuming most of these will be way larger than they advertise?? And/or are just underage babies of feeder pigs?? Or underfed to keep them small?? I read it can take like 5 years for pigs to grow to their full size?? So those parents on the Juliana aren’t even full grown?? Also that teacup one should probably have been neutered, right?

But are any of these good? If I were to ever get one.

And these ones make me more than a bit nervous with the no picture thing and the one they describe as “very timid” and he’s not fixed. Sounds like a recipe for disaster. Ha and how they changed the ones age. Not by much and it a huge deal but still. The male might be owned by a different person. Idk. Different location.

Pigs ain’t hairless. Stay away from all teapcup pigs. That kunekune pig will get over 400lbs easy.

I thought they had minimal hair though? Maybe hairless wasn’t the right term but I met one once and she was adorable but weird to pet. Maybe it was just that one. And okay thank you. So is Juliana considered teacup or mini too?? Assuming I should stick with pot bellies if I go with one?? And okay thank you. That is good to know. Definitely won’t be getting that one then haha even though it is adorable as a baby. Also I just Googled it and they’re kind of really ugly as adults. :hide pot bellies are much cuter ha

As you can see, there is a lot of hair but it is very coarse. You will be able to see skin but it will be hard to touch due to all the hair.

Juliana are miniature spotted pigs that should not have a swayback like a potbelly nor have a potbelly. They usually get between 20-40lbs and shouldn’t weight more than 60lbs.

I actually have a soft spot for kunekune but I love my potbelly.
