Well I want to go fishin our front haha! The chickens are locked up in the coop and the ducks are roaming everywhere and Miss Piggy refuses to come out of her dog box.

Almost forgot, I've talked with Becca. She's doing better...awe what the heck, y'all can read what she said!

Thanks for checking on me, it means a lot! I'm still here, still dealing with the cracked rib and as it turns out a chipped bone in my wrist. Splint came off for good Friday, but still painful as hell. Not sleeping much because of it.
Been really missing my BYC family and need to try and get caught up now that I can type some. Very depressed and lonely since my hubs is the only person here that I even know, I feel like such a burden. He's doing all he can to take care of me and is a really good guy, but I still miss my peeps.
Hope you are doing well and feeling better yourself! Tell everyone I'm sorry to be absent and am getting back on my feet and that I will holla back soon.

So, how's your morning going?

There's a restaurant near us that has been closed for several months for a from-the-ground-up renovation. They are hoping to reopen soon, so they'd put up a sign, "help wanted" and a phone number. BB2K responded, and they've had her training on Sundays for about the last month at a location a few miles from here. This morning when we drove into the parking lot, the place was closed, there were two demolition skips in the parking lot, and a trailer with the logo of a fire and water restoration company on it sitting out front. The doors had a notice: "To our loyal customers. We are closed for repairs, and will open again as soon as possible. We are sorry for the inconvenience, and we appreciate your patronage." Would have been nice to have had a heads-up, but I suppose the people who might have thought to tell her may not have had her phone number.

Happy Fathers Day to all of you dads. It doesn't matter if you have human kids, 4 legged, furry/feathered/scaled kids, or raising someone elses kids... You guys ROCK!!!

I think I'm making my 1st Hummingbird Cake today from NFC's recipe. I wanted to make it last night in case it needed to set up a bit, but got distracted. I'm not sure how I'm gonna make the frosting yet. I have a block of cream cheese & should probably make it per the recipe before I start messing with it, but I might go ahead & go buttercream instead. Since its an NFC Approved Recipe is guaranteed to be good either way.

Bravo Sean on your perfect aim. What do you do with it now? Do you bury the head or is that an old wives tale?

That's a old wives tale.. I laid it out in the driveway, a blizzard found it the next morning...buzzards gotta eat too!
