Oh, & Debby, popping the bananas in the oven was a brilliant trick!

My cakes are cooling & they smell amazing! I might have to take a page out of Perts book & pop them in the freezer a bit. They smell like they'd be excellent with coconut. Has anybody ever made this with coconut either in the batter or on the frosting
(or both?)

My youngest DD made banana cake with cream cheese Frosting. It is very Tasty!

The hummingbird cake is delicious! Help yourselves. Its pretty sweet. The kids think coconut would make it too sweet. Maybe next time I'll try just a little on top for décor.

Wow, that was quick. 32 degrees centigrade now and the sun isn't at full strength.
Everyone is in the shade.
I'm having problems with getting used to how late it is by the time I get everything done.
Consequently I'm not getting to bed soon enough to get a proper nights sleep.
I need to get sorted out and at least have supper before I put the animals to bed.

Nope, never tried it with coconut but that might be good!

Works like a charm...never need to wait for bananas to ripen any more

It's cool and breezy here this morning. Last night there was thunder and lightening around but I don't think we got any rain out of it.
