I could stand the 72F our weather took a turn for the 90's and almost daily thunder storms. Oh poo!

Well the good news is two of my three turkeys are doing great but the white one is limping and balancing with its wings. No break but I think it sprained it. They were in the introduction café and aren’t too graceful haha. Look at the assumed jake strut. The assumed female is the one at my feet. And yes, that is my giant foot.

Happy 4th of July!! For everyone who celebrates it, have a safe holiday.

I'm at work now waiting for Equipment Maintenance to fix the heaters on the gold tank I'm trying to strip the Au out of.
I will run out to do some errands once the stripper solution is up to temp but then have to come back in to acid leach it and start rinsing to purity. Boring stuff but someone has to do it.
My weekend plans are to wrap things up in the coop and run which are about 95% complete.
I'm still battling it out with my second broody hen. She is relentless. If I can't get her to break, I'll convert the chick brooder into a brooder for her and give her a few eggs to hatch. I don't know what I'll do with the chicks as I am at capacity now. Probably just give them away to someone. But it would be neat to see a broody momma and chicks!

You should get extra pay and or a big bonus for that!
