At least it was quick. I've had some little lizards get stuck in the hardwire cloth. I've been able to save a handful of them, but theres some I don't find till much too late. That's a horrible way to go.

There was a second one about 5 ft from this one. And I didn't mention that Sissy dug a toad out that was burrowed in the mulch and proceeded to run around the pen with it, stopping periodically to drop it and peck the crap out of it every so often. The poor thing was just writing every time she dropped it. Amphibians don't make out well in the chicken pen.

Big fat bugs either. I keep telling the birds, "just eat it, don't torture it" but they like to play with their food.

We take slugs whatever into them mice and voles the cat kill they go to the chickens my birds eat pretty good been using a head of romaine lettuce for close to 4 days down close to the bottom took the rest to all the coops
