Ugh, the "s" word! After living in NY for 17 years, and nova Scotia from 1974 to 1992, I have shoveled enough snow for a lifetime!

That's why I love VA. We don't get much snow and when we do get it, it melts the next day.

Speaking of leftovers, I've been eating cold stuffing (my favorite) every day for breakfast since friday. DH told me just eating stuffing for breakfast was not ok. I said, "Soooo eating toast for breakfast is ok, but once you add broth, vegetables & an egg its not ok anymore?"

That dude is simple.

Tired of Thanksgiving leftovers? How about digesting an inspirational quote instead? I saw this this morning & thought I'd share. (I believe they said it was Charlie Chapman, but I haven't confirmed that.)

As I began to love myself
I quit stealing my own time,
and I stopped designing huge projects
for the future.
Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness,
things I love to do and that make my heart cheer,
and I do them in my own way
and in my own rhythm.
Today I call this Simplicity.

I ate peanut butter cookies for brunch it was healthy peanut butter and there's nothing bad in them except flour. It was some healthy recipe plant based recipe I found.

Eating fake bad foods makes me feel like I'm normal

Left overs are about gone! The turkey meat went into soup last night and it was very good!

Somebody has nicked one of my winter doors for one of the coops.
I even wrote Not Firewood on it.
It's got a bit nippy here. It must be around freezing now.
Got the heavy duty winter battery into the Nissan this afternoon.
Bracket, Donk and Knock have started laying eggs again. There's something not quite right about this hens stop laying at a particular light level. I think Donk is five years old now so she's hardly a pullet.
Due to Bracket's mental health issues I think she thinks it's always summer.
I bought 4 rabbit haunches from the guys down the road and I'm making a stew. I've got my biggest pot on the woodburner and every now and then I chuck a bit of something in it.
Cooking to recipes isn't my forte.
