BYC Café

Hello Café. The last of the 'strangers' just left.

I feel I ought to point out in case anyone noticed that the word 'stollen' was misspelt.
I've corrected it. I wouldn't want anyone thinking I go shopping and steal cakes.:p:lau

I had a mental picture of you slipping out of the shop, 'stolen' hidden beneath your long overcoat.

After a rocky start with Princess's minor accident it turned into a truly great day. Much laughing, food, and fun - so much love. Ever since the grandkids have been born the Princess has been making their albums filled with pictures. Of course the oldest (25) had about 40 # of albums and the youngest only 1 album. Going back over the pictures and memories was great. Princess has been looking forward to this for a long time, and the reaction on the part of the grandkids made her effort worthwhile. They were commenting on how much they enjoyed them and how happy they were to receive them. Once again I reiterated that they will never meet anyone who loves more strongly than her. :love

Of course everything can't be perfect. Younger of the two grandsons and his girlfriend left early because he can't drive after 11 PM due to his age. Don't ask me why but they decided to go to Chik Fil A. Going around the third circle/roundabout here in 'circle city' they were hit by another young driver. Nobody hurt and only minor damage. Police officer did not issue any tickets. The traffic patterns on these circles is so inconsistent that even locals have trouble with them.

Today one of our grand daughters was showing the Princess a bruise on her hip when the Princess noticed a tattoo. When asked what it said, she replied "Never Forget" and rapidly left the room. Our DIL explained that in the letter left by her birth mother was the request: "Please never let her forget me." :hit This is the girl with the Lupus, and I have never seen her happier and in better health. :fl

I love my family.

Half brother has gone up to Barcelona to party.
We spent six solid hours talking. I think that's about a years worth in one day for me.:D
He plans to come back on the night bus. Now I've got a phone he can ring and I'll go and pick him up. The night bus gets in at 4.30 am.:rant
That's okay. Once in while isn't going to kill me.
He's changed a bit since I last spoke to him at any length.
