I think I'm sober now. I didn't get to bed until the small hours. The half hour walk took a bit longer due to the extra steps.
I seem to have a lot of baked potatoes left.

And no idea where the baked potatoes came from?

I made a fresh pot of coffee if you'd like a cup to shake off the cobwebs.

The squirrels have been out chasing each other, they must think it is spring with this mild weather.

I feel like this is the most awkward winter I've seen since moving to VA 7 years ago. It's going to be almost 70 in a few days!

The couple came today to meet Sarge, Fabio's son. It was a love fest!
They loved him, he loved them. He allowed the husband to pick him up multiple times and he ate gently from his hand.
I'm keeping him another week as they want to make some modifications in their coop to keep him isolated from their birds for a while. They are so excited to adopt him. I'm happy for the little guy!

Well son and I went out to lunch at Arby's- on the way home he decided he needed to get me a new mattress. Just our luck he spotted a place selling them. Easiest sale the woman ever made.

I like to research things and compare prices and brands & customer comments. My son just decided, paid for it and it's supposed to be delivered about Jan.6 .

He already gave me a Roomba- to me a high priced toy. He ran it all over the second floor, then set it loose on the carpeting of the living room. He said he had to clean it out three times, it picked up so much stuff. I asked if he could return it. He said no because It was used. I DIDN'T USE IT!!
