@007Sean I didn't know you were into aquariums! We are thinking about doing a saltwater aquarium soon. It's a long process though and I'm not sure we have the patience to wait :lau
Yep, I'm a Marine Biologist by degree. It takes quite awhile for them to cycle and really build up a superior biofilter, then going through all the stages of aging, diatoms blooms, hair algae blooms, getting water quality as perfect as possible....quite challenging in a closed loop box of water  then there's the compatibility of the species of fish, corals, and inverts that have to be considered to avoid trouble down the road.:barnie:he

I'm jealous that you have a marine biologist degree. I have a second cousin that's a marine biologist and I am so jealous of her every single day...

One of my brothers is a chemical engineer and I am so jealous of how smart he is.

All of that sounds like a headache probably to most people, but someone like me loves stuff like that.

If I ever had a chance at a second life, I would definitely be getting a degree that has to do with animal science. I was always into animals and I always had jobs that had to do with animals like a dog groomer or vet technician. Both of them were internships that turned into jobs.

I may not have a animal science degree to show people, but all of the knowledge that I have gained through the jobs that I've done have really done me good in the sense of our farm. I am usually the one that is always taking care of the animals and I love it.

I have gone from just having dogs to almost having a zoo :lau

people love coming to our house because we have such a wide variety of animals for any type of animal lover.

And I forgot to add that I am the type of person that has cage diving with great white sharks on their bucket list :D

I also have free diving with sharks in Florida on my bucket list

My poor husband has no choice but to do this all with me:lau:lau:lau

I would love to have jellyfish and seahorses, they are probably my most favorite. Even though I do have a soft spot for octopuses :D

My most favorite animals that live in the ocean are sharks, whales, and dolphins but none of those would be able to fit at my house :lau
We used to see Manatees and Dolphins a lot in FL.

I majored biology in University too.

Back when I used to scuba dive we didn't use cages. So if sharks were there, or barracudas, or moray eels, we were too. A lot of the time probably most divers can't see far so have no idea what is out there.
