Been there, done that - but it was a long time ago. Loved raising the many varieties of guppies. Then raised bettas and then on to Cichlids.

Didn’t know so many of you were into fish! Amazing how many here are into fish and/or have worked with dogs. Haha but I guess that’s what happens when you get a bunch of animal lovers together. :lau

I have 4 goldfish and 2 bettas right now. Have had other bettas before too. Right now I have a dragon scale and a red veil tail, both males.

In my experience with beagles hind dewclaws are attached about 85 % of the time. When removing at 3 days it is essential to also remove the little nub of bone they are attached to. I'll probably jinx myself with this, but I routinely trim dog nails and have to deal with torn toe nails very infrequently. For me it comes down to proper maintenance of the dogs' feet. Something that is essential for hunting hounds.

Huh, interesting. Must depend on the breed and/or individual dog. I know some have said their labs have nice, tight dews. They were referencing front ones I think so I guess that could contribute to the issues if the dog has bigger or looser dews.

But yes, I agree!!! And it’s amazing to me the amount of people that have dogs with crazy long nails!! I’m a bit obsessive and like them super short. :lau

Of course I think some people don’t know but still.... you would think of the nails were curving over or just very long people would recognize that wasn’t good but then people don’t recognize a lot ha
