I placed my ad and naturally the first reply was some nimwit scammer.
But I included that I was looking to sell some hens. I just sold 4 and the guy is coming to pick them up at 6:30 in the morning Saturday. He's just starting his flock. I'm going to give him 2 dozen eggs too.

This will help slow down the eggs and give me room for replacement pullets. I'm hoping Astrid and Rhoda go broody again this year. I think either of them would be outstanding mothers. I've got to get the brooder area ready. I think I'll put a nest on either end with a divider so two hens can't easily steal each others eggs if I have two fire off on broody business at the same time.

Donate to a food bank or women's shelter?

I'll ask Meals on Wheels if they also offer fresh eggs. They usually cook and package meals for delivery.

Good thing you got that done now, those are considered "non essential services".

I can do a cut on BF's hair just do not do it allot he pays them to do it...
last time it was young gal learning so had to direct allot no more here

We can't go out and get a haircut here! Sadly the rest of the Country should be sheltering in place too.

I need a haircut but unless I give myself one, I will have to wait until May 1st. or later. Our county is under Quarantine until then but it could be extended

There were only eight people in the salon and three of those were employees. The owner kept the door locked to maintain the numbers.

I gave The Bread of Life 15 dozen eggs Tuesday. They feed the homeless lunch daily.

I am getting a dozen plus eggs daily.
