I don't Roomy. I don't think she's working at all at the moment. That's okay, I mostly use tea bags. I can wait.

Coffee is made. Tea bags and kettle and some loose green tea are on the counter. That funny looking gadget is a herb steeper, and I'm using it for loose tea until I get a pot.
I'll get a picture up later.
Blue skies and lots of sunshine here. It's going to be a warm one.

Eve has gone broody - yay! I need to keep an eye out for when she hops off, in order to put some more eggs in there; hopefully it'll result in at least one LA and an olive egger in due course - and no more roos!

How's the chick doing @DobieLover ?

She's doing fine. She's under mom with her siblings. After cleaning the big broody doop out of the ward I carefully lifted mom off the mass and she was right in the middle. Everyone eventually made their way back under mom. It's chilly here this morning but with bright blue skies, birds singing away and it's going to push into the high 60s and low 70s today and tomorrow. I'll likely let the little family out of the ward tomorrow afternoon.

Good morning everyone. Sunny here today, hoping to get a lot done. Hubby has a bad groin pull, so I am hoping he takes it easy.

A little update on my solo hen. The group I wanted to get her into consists of 2 EE hens, an EE rooster, and 4 Barred Rock hens. The BR's were what had me worried - they are kinda intense. Knowing that "birds of a feather . . . ," I moved the two EE hens in with the lone gal a few days ago (she's an EE, I think she's actually the daughter of one of these two). Since they all seemed to be getting along, I moved them in with the main group last night. I figure I'll watch them today, if the BR's get too nasty, I can remove some or all of them and re-introduce them one at a time . . . . hopefully, that won't be necessary.

So far, so good, DL! Hoping your little chick continues to thrive (and turns into a fine pullet!!)
