BYC Café

Thanks!

We are at 86F today.
I meant to reply to your question about sugar and weight loss. I've never been overweight and sugar just gets burnt. So no, I haven't noticed any change apart from my palette.

Look in the cupboard Shad, there is sugar and I brought tea bags.
Awww, you're a sweetheart.:love
I'm going to have to go shopping next week and I'll remember to pick some up.
I get through a lot of tea.

I'm pretty darn sure that I have 5 pullets and 3 cockerels. ALL the boys are Fabio's.
So not only is dingbat fertilizing more of the ladies he's doing it with X chromosomes too!
A bit of a mans man then.:p

There was a time when British Rail, long before they became Railtrack made proper tea.
there was indeed, but those days have long gone I'm afraid. Now it is a very overpriced tea bag in a polystyrene 'cup' of nearly hot water with a plastic stirrer and lid. :sick

A bit like the truck stops on the French motorways. You used to be able to get fantastic food at an incredibly cheap price years ago.

caught a glimpse of a little ball of black fluff with Eve this afternoon, cheeping loudly just outside the nest; popped it back in with her and got only the lightest peck for my troubles. And then I saw a little body in front of the nest; it seems one fell out just after hatching, and died even before getting dry :( Hopefully tomorrow she will reveal all. She's still clucking gently as if to encourage more hatching.

Lucky you!

It is very easy for me to gain weight LOL!

Sorry about the little chick. The same thing happened to Kerrie. It's a sad sight to see.
