Clearly your weather is seriously off kilter; surely it should be freshly squeezed iced lemonade at this time of year in Catalonia!

Very hard to give away a single rooster here.

perhaps because you're competing with Penedesencas there V interesting breed, as I found from the featured thread this morning.

That's a real shame about the hives. Bee hives are suffering here too, but from mites and disease rather than predation, if I remember correct.

Today is Cappy's last day in prison. Missy stopped offering conjugal visits and hasn't been in with him for 3 days.

It wasn't sleeping that did it, it was working on fixing the hoop coop roof and collecting wood to help hubby burn pine wood.

Yeah, but it needed doing. The transparent panels on the roof were being pushed apart by debris, so it was leaking. I pumped caulk in and spaced screws about every 6 inches. I will likely have to do the other side as well, but I needed to do that side before I finished the roof of the run.
I didn't plan on collecting that much tinder, but hubby is not great on getting fires going. Three Mule loads later, the fire was burning well.
