I am going in to renew my drivers license this morning. When the DMV started opening for limited business, you had to make an appointment to renew your license. It took 2 months for me to get an appointment. My license expired 4 days after the lockdown when I was waiting for a copy of my birth certificate to arrive.

That sounds similar to the crap that goes on here. Some retard politician decides to make some new law and tries to put it into effect when the infrastructure needed to make it work is broken.
It's all very well stating you must apply for this that or the other by such and such a date but complete nosnense when the relevant departments are either shut, or months behind.

I did not release the flock this morning at feeding time. They are quite confused about this. The fog is extraordinarily heavy this morning and I haven't weed wacked the back of the fence line so I've lost a lot of punch in the fence. I'll take care of that tonight. When the fog burns off a bit more, I'll let them out.
But I did let Astrid out for her 90 second break. She never dooped before the kids started in and she raced back to them. It's funny. She goes zooming into the brooder room and starts softly clucking to the chicks as she climbs back onto the nest. They quiet right down as soon as they see her again.
I reached in to give the chicks a few clumps of feed on the edge of the kick board in front of Astrid where they had piled up. They screeched a little when my hand was that close to them and ignored the food. Astrid could see it so she started doing the "here's something good to eat" cluck and they stood up and started eating it! It's amazing how she is mothering them with no contact and still working on her clutch of eggs.

Good luck. Here in NJ the DMV is still a mess with people getting there early AM and still not accomplishing their goals.
