Coffee is made.
It's hot and I'm grumpy.
Main house dramas to cope with this morning. Not worth detailing.
Off to buy some tubes of ChemFix to do some concrete repairs with later today.
Chickens all under bushes looking disgruntled. I was late letting them out and they missed their cool foraging period.

Pleasant interlude between storms here, so I'm getting some gardening done - mostly tidying up excessive growth of plants that enjoyed the warm wet summer here.

Today is going to be very nice and this time I'll get to enjoy it while working at mom's.
I've been debating running Bella. The dew claw toe with the snapped off nail is swollen and she's been licking it. But she's also been frantically pacing the house because I didn't run her yesterday. She's positively bursting with energy. I think I'll have to take my chances to try to burn some of it off and hope I don't make the toe worse.

Morning! We had lightning yesterday with a report of a small fire nearby. They got it out, obviously or I probably would not be relaxing with a bit of coffee. Hugs, DL. I am glad that you got things back under your control. What a relief!
Congrats, Sour with your dogs doing well! We have some cooling air coming in and I wish I could share some, Shad. Although my hot temps would probably seem cool too...

Bella had an uninvited guest in her swimming hole. A young Copperhead. It swam right up to the boulder I was standing on for a better look at me so I got a better look at it. Bella! OUT of the water!!
