about 9 hours today, plus yesterday - but all is forgiven as she showed them just now
she certainly is not amenable to me lifting her skirts; it's as much as she can do to peck only gently when I'm providing food and water nearby! But I can tell she's trying to stop herself, so that's OK with me.
Meet Pembroke and Wallis

Pembroke is SFH x Barbezeiux, and Wallis is SFH x Norfolk Grey. The 11g difference in egg size shows clearly!

I started out small with 10 birds. I'm somewhere north of 30 but have some boys to rehome. Letting the broody hens do their thing is too hard for me to resist. Lots of interesting stuff happened with the three batches that hatched here... fun, fun!

I am down to 4 hens!

I do need to get some more next year
