BYC Café

Good morning, Cafe! Making lots of coffee... my weather guy is now saying lows in the teens and a foot+ of snow...
"is going to usher in record-smashing cold and snow by Tuesday, for this time of year."
Enjoy the day, I have firewood to move out.
Reminds me of last years NovemberSnowGeddon here...2' feet in a day or so.
Probably the most we got for the rest of the winter, or at least at one time.

@Mtn Margie Is that extremely early for snow of that amount for you ?
Was wondering the same

I installed carpet for 32 years.
How are your knees!?!

Hmmmm......toxic is what it smells like to me.
Yeah, "clean" and "smell" don't go together. Clean has no smell otherwise it wouldn't be clean.

Got lucky again!
I'd say, that fence could have been flattened. Going to take some machinery to get that down without damaging the fence.

While trying to push the new devises back in the boxes on 12 gauge wire, I pushed several boxes through the wall. Oops.
I guess they weren't nailed or screwed to studs?
You wanted to buy and install new boxes anyway, right? ;)

Good evening Cafe.
I've brewed a pot of tea. Even got some chocolate digestive biscuits to go with it. Get stuck in.
Warn here again today. A bit muggy but bearable.
Jenny the Muscovy duck is having a moult but nothing too drastic.

Got a bit more mowing done today, 'cool' at 76°-50%,
but still drenched with sweat pretty quick.
Decided to stop selling eggs, production is slowing down,
gonna stock up to keep myself in eggs over winter.
First winter in 7 years I haven't had a batch of pullets.
I am waiting for the new batteries for the lawn mower and then I can mow!
