BYC Café

I bought it. It's the nicest car I've ever owned.
Great news Tonya!

Could be a long cold winter.
Hmmm, now that you mention it that may be the case. At the moment I have problems with fogging up my glasses when I go into a store wearing my mask. Wonder what will happen in the cold winter temps.

Geez, what about families that have more than 6 members already living under one roof?
Some of them have to move.

I told them everything that was wrong with it and they took it anyway.
I suspect they can sell it for scrap or possibly to someone who will part it out for repair shops. Plenty of expensive parts on that car even with it's problems.

Bella looks glorious there!

Masks not previously required in shops?
Wonders how they will enforce it.
I guess they'll have to make exceptions for families over 6!
No, masks haven't been required in Wales shops hitherto, only on public transport. We didn't reopen as soon as England and we're had significantly lower rates of infection and mortality, and most here think our govt in Cardiff handled it better than Boris and Co in London. Enforcement thus far has been on the spot fines, so I guess that'll be the main method.
At least one man was killed trying to enforce it.
No guns on the streets here, or on the police ordinarily, so we should haven't sh**shows like that here :bow
Some of them have to move.

Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the coffee Shad.
Dry here for a change, and apparently we're gonna get summer's last hurrah this weekend - could do with a bit of warmth before the nights really start drawing in.

We will be under new Covid rules from Monday: 6 people, all from within the same extended family, is the new max for meeting indoors. For many families that effectively means the nuclear family full stop. And face coverings will be required in shops and suchlike henceforth. And it's going to be law not just guidance, so enforcement will be easier. Could be a long cold winter.
And the British people have let this law pass without a murmur of dissent.

I haven't read the daft yet. I get the feeling that it's the usual case of the privileged doing this to the rest.

that may be the case in England (and in Scotland for all I know) but Mark Drakeford (our First Minister) is not privileged, or elitist in any way. He's a really genuine, humble man. I've met him. And you only need to watch him being interviewed (any interview) to see that.
