@DobieLover How is poor Skittles leg doing today?
DL, I hope your pup is doing okay.
He seems completely unaffected! The swelling is also gone. I just can't believe he wasn't injured by that thing. It was very substantial and it was hard for me to open it.

I've decided to ramp up all safety measures. I found one of Bridget's old blaze orange vests and put it on Bella. She could feel it against her stomach and wouldn't run at first! I had to loosen it a bit.

Oh Good!
It is amazing it didn't do any damage.
When I called my mother to tell her what had happened she reminded me about one of her cats that came home with a trap just like that on its foot. That particular trap was not anchored to the ground. That's how the cat got home. They took it off, the leg was very swollen and she took him to the vet but no bones were broken. The majority of the damage on his leg was from lack of circulation. It is truly amazing that they weren't more seriously injured.

You watch all your 'TV' on a laptop or tablet or.....?
I do watch tv shows on my laptop, all free, as the antenna only gets a few channels.
No tv shows etc. for us, the only thing we will watch on lap top will be some documentary or scientific program once in a blue moon.

More then 10 years ago we decided that for us watching tv resulted in some kind of senseless waste of precious lifetime.
So, ever since we accidentally wrecked our satellite receiver while demolishing one of our stables, we decided not to fix it but abstain from tv and rather enjoy the real life instead.

That sure is a relief!

And I think it a good preventative to have them wear safety jackets with hunting season started etc.

We got rid of TV in March of 2013 and never looked back! However, I'm now getting pressured by DH's family that we need to have TV because it'll be good for his Alzheimer's. I don't think so. But, we do have Amzn prime. And we do watch movies or old TV series from time to time. He does seem to enjoy them.
