Arks are so old school. I was thinking more of a submarine.
Can't say if the weather now is any worse than it was say 30 years ago. According to the people who have lived here for generations on this mountain, it's been heading to the valley since it went up. Some bright spark called it natural errosion.

Sure hope no huge slides had one town here taken out but slide it was way north. Osso was the name of the town lost quite a few folks
Found a old dried straw hat lots of decorations trying to build a way not put my left foot under my right leg made a flannel pillow for it he is not too thrilled yet

Old school is not always a bad thing.
Arks will float even without fuel or other power supply than wind and waves, whereas your submarine will have to find a substitute as soon as it will have run out of the initial energy supply.

I just got off the phone with my sister. My 18 yo nephew tested positive on Tuesday.
His father has a low grade fever, headache and sore throat, and, oh yeah, lives with his kid that tested positive. The health department asked that he text in daily with any symptoms. He stopped doing it when he got no replies about his symptoms. My sister and my 16 yo niece are also now in quarantine.
Scary part is, my sister (nurse) changes my mother's insulin pump every 3 days or so. My mom went to her house yesterday and stayed in the driveway. My sister washed up, donned a mask and did her pump outside. If my mother gets it, she'll never survive it. She has way too much wrong with her.
