It's warm here. And that's fine by me. I estimate at least a third of the snow pile on the roof has melted away and it should be cut in half at the end of the day. I'll take it.

Not sure I understand her "tea bags vs loose leaf" argument. How does it take significantly longer to toss some leaves in a tea ball?

OK, so "proper" tea requires a ceramic teapot and a tea cosy to keep the pot warm. And one must pre warm the pot. There are hundreds if not thousands of types of tea available, I'm sure she could find something other than Lipton

I made peanut brittle and there is a lot to go around!
And it is snowing! Somehow, I do not mind it.

The kids made zucchini bread, pumpkin bread, cranberry jam thumbprint cookies & some kind of lemon/pecan Austrian “moon cookie” that DD1 experiments with every year.

PLEASE help me eat this stuff, my pants are too tight already. I heard them plotting to make snickerdoodles & choc chip cookies tomorrow. Will pass some off to the neighbors & freeze some. Help yourselves.
