I do have deep litter and remote thermometer says it's 18 in there right now and it's 3 outside right now. So the deep litter really does help .

We never get that cold I whine at 28 and it the real temp here never had frostbite like you if I can keep deep litter moisture does not cause frostbite.. I really have to stop look or typos abound.
