Glad I can have someone else handle my taxes, well worth the cost for me.

I feel very lucky compared to what some people have to deal with weather-wise, this year. We have missed a lot of the misery.

Gonna drop off my tax stuff this morning. A lot of things are different this year. The place I use isn't doing face-to-face meetings this year because of Covid, which is understandable.

Well, and they know all the rules, so stuff doesn't get screwed up like if I did them.

Gonna drop off my tax stuff this morning. A lot of things are different this year. The place I use isn't doing face-to-face meetings this year because of Covid, which is understandable.

I do it all over email, and maybe phone call or two.
But I've used the same guy for a more than a decade, so we have it down pat.

Well, unless you discover that they had no clue what they were doing and you had to revise all of 8 past years yourself to find out that they messed it up royally.
Leaving you to redo it on your own. But at least it resulted in a nice tax refund, and of course a corresponding refund regarding their own debit notes.

my niece is a CPA, and does our taxes, thank God! so many farm forms--I keep all the farm records up to date all year, she juggles them just right!

That would stink....it took 8 years to find out they screwed up?!

Luckily the group I use came highly recommended from someone I trusted who'd used them for several years. Great people, never had a lick of trouble with them.

Good morning all. +12 this morning with a few more inches of snow. Actually 25 degrees warmer than yesterday thank goodness. Did some "youtube" research yesterday on trapping bobcats. Had one get quite a number of chickens last summer/fall. And saw one on security cam a few mornings ago. I tied a piece of tin foil to a tree last night and watched a horse eat this morning. Dag blasted animal.

Morning! I am very glad to hear Shad is fine. Awesome!
Thanks for the coffee and chat. We are in the teens but warming up. Chance of snow with a total of 4 inches predicted and then back into the 40's early next week with wind. I don't think that will help the drought situation much. Enjoy the day!

I was suspecting it for some time already, but was not in charge then.
As soon as I took over, I immersed myself in the annual reports and tax declarations and the more I investigated, the worse it turned out to be ...
