yep been there. I worked in Minnesota once and brought my camper. After day 2 average was -25 for the next 5-6 weeks. Southern boys don't like that much.

I whipped up a batch of Paleo pumpkin pancakes with reduced sugar craisins the other night. Also with pure maple syrup and cooked in Kerry Gold butter!
I'm going with scrambled eggs with sautéed chopped ham and goat cheese and 2 slices of bacon this morning. First and last meal of the day. Colonoscopy tomorrow. First time. I'm not looking forward to the prep.
