I saw something similar years ago when we lived further north in California. The irrigating sprinklers came on during a cold morning and covered the trees with ice in the Prune orchard. It was only two rows though.

BCM chicks are 3-4 weeks old.
Seeing some marked differences in combs.
Some are larger and reddish, some are smaller and darker.
Hoping that means male and female, tho wild guess at this point,
but one can hope I have 3&3....couldn't get a shot of all 6 and didn't feel like chasing them down for a photo shoot
