We use corel because the regular stuff gets broken too much!

That and it is lighter than stoneware or use to be this is quite nice change for us bought two sets so when family is here we have enough..
@Shadrach I do hope it is a easy transition for you I know you where concerned you would have to.

Boy, when corel breaks it completely disintegrates into frightening sharp shards.

Tiny Door Training is over.
Found one chick had gotten past the safety barrier,
so I took it down after closing the main pop door.
Most the other birds were outside and the chicks had a ball bopping all over the big space.
Opened pop door and the other birds came in to see these little invaders, couple hens went after them and proved the chicks knew where the doors were. Another hen schooled the bullies, ha!
Chicks are going in and of the doors with confidence, showing some sense between the bully and nice big birds.

Tell ya not recent but like 2 years ago broke one of our milk glass bowls the big one of course. They shatter, disintegrated little white shards. Took almost a year to find another

Corel can take a couple of drops and then shatters for sure!

My sister once showed a friend how Corel doesn't break by throwing a dish on the floor. It wasn't a very convincing demonstration.

My grands have managed to break quite a few pieces of our Corel. The youngest was scraping her plate in the garbage after eating, with one of her utensils, then she's toss the eating utensil in the garbage too. I've bought cheap replacements to fill the gap, until they move out. Then I'll get a new set of both Corel, and flatware.

Our older set had been in service like 15 years best guess actually we had two set but not that same sets we did donate them.. I bought 2 set but the same

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

Today is Peanuts day. I've been watching her for months since she never resumed laying after her molt but was visiting the boxes. She has slid past the point of quality of life and my neighbor will shoot her this morning. It's a gift for her.

She was going to be my first but I just don't want that on my mind when DH and I go on vacation in 2 weeks.
