Chicks spent much of their day yesterday 'hiding' on a roost in the coop.
A couple went into the main run, only to be run off by the bullybitch.
Always worry a bit those first few days that they won't get enough to eat or drink.
But this morning they were all on the floor and most the big birds were on their roost.
Saw chicks eating and drinking out of the big birds supply......good sign.
Glad they are getting some acclimation time before the next heat wave next weekend.

Napoleon's morning routine.
He comes in when I'm cleaning, flies up to the boards, does his 'flap, flap, flap', crows, and as soon as any girl heads for the boxes he starts in before they do. He's like a cheerleader.

Got my DogLove fix today(vet day) at TSC.
My perfect dream dog was there, B&W Smallish Std Poodle!
He was the most mellow dog there out of a half dozen.
