BYC Café

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.
It's 49F out this morning. Feels great! I love cool mornings in the summer.
51 here. Cool enough to bake something! And thanks for the coffee, DL. Grownies will be out soon to go with. (Grownies are my granola/brownie breakfast cookies.)
I'd say fold it down even further.....but they can probably get thru the mesh holes in the playpen.
Yeah, I'm going to cut the cardboard all the way down so I can fold it out almost flat. The sheets are draped up over the fence playpen perimeter when I have the door open. Since the fence is 4", I can't get a decent picture if the sheets are up. I can't back up more to get a better shot either; it's in the mud room which is also home to the washer, dryer, freezer, refrigerator. Yup, I do not have a fridge in my kitchen. :lau

45° here, and yes, it sure does!
Had to grab an extra blanket in the middle of the night,
and really did not want to leave the warm cocoon this morning.

Off to the 'big city' this morning....the errand train is rolling.
Tomorrow and Fri is going back up to near 90°, with the promise of some rain.

Willies huge spur that had a spiral crack broke off yesterday.

Like Fabio's did? The second spur sheath popped off mid- shaft as expected. His spurs are now a good inch shorter and I didn't do anything to help them get that way.
I still haven't been able to locate his spur cutters.
I did find the Dremel. I'll see how badly everyone reacts to me turning that on tonight. If they're okay with it, I'll do Olivia's spurs too. Hers could actually inflict damage if she wanted. They are sharp!

Not quite, it had a crack in it. I had been thinking how to dremel or twist it off when I saw this crack. So was kind was waiting to see. Figured it might dry up and come off. Was glad to see it had, as I was very nervous about using a dremel on him singlehandedly, he's BIG bird and I like to use two hands with a dremel.

I found the rest of the spur this morning in the run, will take some pics later.
