BYC Café

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

Off to the hospital for DHs shot that will last 6 months followed by a bone density scan.
Have a great day everyone.
I hope he does well with the shot!

Good morning, Cafe', and thanks for the coffee. Field trial went well; although, today I am feeling a bit burned out. Ran two dogs and did nothing with them, but I did win the 15" male class with a dog that belongs to a partially crippled friend who has recently returned to the sport. It was a good moment as I talked him into buying this dog and have been helping with the training. :yesss:
Congratulations!

My Department went back to work on our building on Campus yesterday. I had to do a lot of moving things around. I was very tired last night LOL!

Freya (the adorable puppy) is doing very, very well. She's quiet at night, no accidents in the house, minor chewing that stops when we say no! and give her a chew toy instead. (And then, Good Girl!)
Sounds about perfect!

And commuting :barnie
I do have to commute. It is close to 17 miles each way. They have also moved to a parking app instead of payroll deduction so each day I have to pay on an app. It is odd to have to pay to park where you work!

Did they recently sell the parking lot?

Campus has always charged for parking. We used to have a placard that hung from the rear view mirror.

I'm running a marathon trying to get things done before vacation. When I got home from work today I immediately jumped on the lawn tractor and mowed the lawn and then had to shoo Astrid and the kids out of the way so I could start mowing the chicken pen.
She took them to the run but Fabio was parading around after the tractor in the back of the run scratching away at the newly cut grass bringing the girls in to get the goodies.
I ran out of gas half way through, got the can, filled up and finished cutting the grass.
I was putting the netting back in place on the fence line when I saw Fabio marching with purpose towards the human gate and it was getting pretty dark. Then I realized he saw the RED gas can just outside the gate. He's so easily pissed off. I just can't win.
