BYC Café

Freya had a accident in the house last evening. I blame myself for interpreting her running up and down the stairs as just playing, and not thinking that she might be looking for a spot. It hadn't been that long since she peed, so maybe that's why it didn't occur to me. Lesson learned. We're all learning puppy stuff here.
You posted earlier that she just got spayed, so this might be caused by the change of hormones.

At what time do you feed her? And does she have kibble or raw food?

Is this your first dog?
No, fourth. It was my fault, not hers. I should have taken her out, regardless, after dinner. Even though she had peed about an hour before. She was not punished for it. You say No! in a firm voice, and she gets it.

She is fed kibble before DH goes to work (6ish), noon, and when DH gets home (5:15 or so). We'll probably change it to 2x a day in a few weeks.

Treats are no more than 10% of her... oh, wait, that's the chickens. Well, her too. Actually, her treats are probably less than 10%, and are rewards for working on learning things.

Today, we went for a car ride in my car; she hadn't been in it before. She is a very good rider. She looked out the window, but couldn't sniff because I didn't have it rolled down that far. Then she nosed my shoulder a bit (I love that!), then laid down.

Our road can be kind of bumpy because it's gravel, and there's more noise than when on the pavement. 3.5 miles to pavement from our house.

Our first Dobe was a nervous rider, though she always wanted to get in the car.

Thought the cooler weather would spur me to great productivity.....didn't happen.
Same here but even if I have plans and good intentions other things get in the way. Today was the delivery of the new 48" bathroom vanity. Might not actually get it installed until Sat or Sun. I'll need help to get the old one out and the new one in. Plus I need drain parts for the new sink. Then there is the cabinet hole drilling, whole house water shut off because professional plumbers apparently don't believe in shutoffs for water using areas. And cabinet and bottom drawer modification since they also think the wall pipe should be 11" off the floor which puts the bottom of the trap way too far down, especially for this vanity :he

It is very similar to this one, apparently ours is discontinued. The only difference I see is they changed the drawer pulls. Ours are horizontal brass, not single knob. Oddly each pull, including the knobs on the doors, have 2 screws but there were 4 screws in each bag. I have a LOT of extra screws!!

What I like best about this one is there are 4 drawers on each side, lots of vanities LOOK like 4 but are really 2 that are deep "pile it in" useless things.
