It rained last night... not in the forecast and about 1/3 of my cordwood got wet.

I have a hawk that lives in my neighbors tree.

I have seen him set on the outside rail of the coop and could not figure out how to get in thank goodness.

I had to look this one up.
I had a Yellow breasted Chat that got locked in the run last night. Absolutely darling little thing!

It was flying around the walls at the back of the run. I had about 2 minutes after throwing the "scratch" out to get it out of the run before they all started coming back in for the breakfast bar.

My chickens killed and ate an English sparrow fledgling. It was aweful.
