23 more plants went in the ground today.

And my fairy statue found a new home.

I'll mulch next weekend.
I got about half the lawn mowed and the face cord of wood stacked.

I noticed the lack of Cafe patrons too.

Strange thing happened:
Just now as I was trying to change my profile subtitle, the PFM banner suddenly appeared to be added to my profile.
At first I thought this to be a temporary glitch, but after checking with a moderator, it seems that someone gifted me a week of PFM. That is really very nice! :)
Quick! Change the title under your Avatar!

I thought I had broken the pullets from sleeping in the nesting boxes. I had the boxes covered at night, the pullets were in a corner at night, all was well. I put the cover away.

Now they want to sleep in the nest boxes again. :barnie I'm glad I didn't throw the cover out...!

They still don't care to roost at night. :idunno Silly birds.

I had oodles of fun working on the gardens but it all started with hauling up 3 yards of blended topsoil (a little over 1,000 pounds per yard), 1 yard at a time and shoveling it off the trailer then spreading and shaping it to form the beds.
Oh your aching back!!! The beds look great.

When he gets his title I have nothing to run.
I guess you'll have to bring in some more dogs ... or start training Maggie. Do they sell beagle costumes for dogs?

Good morning, Cafe' - coffee is ready.
I guess you'll have to bring in some more dogs ...
Funny that you should say that. I love training and developing puppies so have been working a pair of young b*tches for a friend. One of them will not suit all judges, but she really suits my standard - perhaps?

Clear for a while today = laundry on the line to dry as far as it can. Then a storm, possibly some severe weather this evening, after lockup, I hope.

Your landscaping looks lovely, DL, and I like your fairy statue!

We really need a dry Saturday for DH to get some wood cut and/or split. He's been grumpy the past few weekends when it's been wet. Especially after having nice weather during the week while he's at work. He is ready to retire. He'll stick it out; he likes his job, coworkers, and the owners, but he wants to do other things now. 9 months to go!

Good morning! DL, I am jealous of your landscaping. It is beautiful and will go well with the pond for sure. DS$ is looking at a Construction Management degree and I think he will go with that. He REALLY enjoyed the class in architecture that he took in HS and seems to have a knack for this kind of thought process.
Sally, our weekend is supposed to be beautiful so fingers crossed for you guys as well.
Enjoy the day, Cafe!
