Had to turn on the timer light in the run and leave the light on in the coop to get the chickens tended this morning.

Nephew will turn off coop lights and let them out when he gets here.

We got the heavy rain last night. A little wind, but nothing nasty. Whew.

I blocked off the nesting boxes last night, since the pullets had started sleeping in them again. I pulled them out at lockup the previous two nights, to much complaint! At lockup last night, one was staring at where the nesting boxes are, and I swear she was thinking, "Hey, that big white board wasn't there last night! What's up with that?"
