BYC Café

@aart, when do you decide it's too cold and turn on the heat? 61 sounds chilly to me.
When I can't stand it anymore......might be today. :gig
I usually keep the house at about 62-64 throughout the winter, so it's not that bad just feels worse due to it being so warm for the last weeks.
If I feel too chilly I either get up and get moving or put my feet on the heating pad for a bit.

That's what we hope too. Over a month ago DH had eye surgery on both eyes and ever since we have to go to follow-up examinations etc. at regular intervals. At first every other day but the intervals were already at once a week when his right eye suddenly got much worse and they detected "some kind of swelling" behind the macula.
For better diagnostic procedures (they have much better equipment) he was again referred to the ophthalmic clinic where the surgeries had been performed, next appointment for close inspection in November to see if it gets better with the prescribed medication. But in between he also has control examinations at the regular ophthalmologist.

He is already more than fed up with all the ordered immobilization and dying to be able to hunt again.
YIKES! Scary.
What kind of surgery did he have?

Huh, Who, Why?
When I mention that I had the wood stove ready to fire at will, @Sally PB commented how she was always so sad for Will being fired at. Well, I shot him!

Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the coffee Sour.

I have Shadow over for the weekend. His owner wanted me to go out and buy him a cupcake yesterday because it was his birthday.

I have to make a run down to Wilkes Barre today to meet DH with his brother (who is picking him up from Pine Grove) so I can give them another week of medication and some warmer clothes. Nice planning on their part. I could have packed all that before he left if anyone had bothered to call me like I asked.
