Was chilly but mostly clear this afternoon, did a few bedding change prep things, after sitting inside sniffing chili cooking all day.

He's a handsome chap. No doubt about that. It would be good if him and Fabio could come to some kind of arrangement.

I have my fingers crossed. He will fall right in the middle size-wise between Fabio and Napoleon. I hope he works out. More than likely, he will turn into a raging hormonal A-hole and I'll half to rehome him. But I still have my fingers crossed for the best outcome.
He's a very nice, respectful guy. Astrid raises good kids!

We've been having some round, pelty snow today. The chickens enjoyed pecking up the tiny little white balls this morning.

Well, one doesn't like to admit to personal hygine shortfalls on a public forum but I'll have dug one big enough before too much longer.

I have never figured out just what 'curry' is/contains.<scratcheshead>
Might be ambivalent and highly subjective?
Any single ingredient define a curry?

Chili can be many different combos.

My chili is ground beef browned with onions and sweet peppers.
Salt, black pepper, and chili powder(ingredients not fully described-one being 'spices').
Then add canned diced tomatoes, simmer all day to cook down tomatoes.
Then add 3 cans of beans... dark red kidney, black, and cannellini.
It's better after the first day, so had leftover cockerel and biscuits tonight.
