BYC Café

Help yourself @LaFleche there's a bottomless pot ready for anyone that wants (or needs) some!
As it seems, I am always in need of some good and hot coffee might even have coffee drip! :yesss:

But now I'm off to clean out all the coops and waterers and let the flocks enjoy their luke warm herb tea, they just love it.

Have a wonderful Monday everyone!

Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the coffee, Debby.

It's hovering right around the freeze point this morning.
My flock have become a bunch of wussies. They used to traverse the snow to get to the neighbors house.

Now there is a dusting of snow on the ground and they won't come out. Ace and his sisters are going out. Probably think they are the king and queens of the kingdom. They have the entire pen to themselves.

That looks plenty cold!

Mine hate getting in the snow, but this was a cute video of chickens in the snow: First snowman

bernedoodle
They will literally mix a poodle with ANYTHING, won't they?
I'm waiting to see the Doberdoodle or the chickadoodle.
The Doberdoodle would be one bad ass dog! It would have the guarding instinct and power of the Doberman, extra smarts added from the poodle and would be able to totally take control of any intruder because they'd be laughing their arse off at it from having the "I look like a complete doofus" advantage.

'Doodle' appears to carry a lot with it. Maggie Mae has appointed herself as neighborhood monitor. 3 driveways are visible from our front lawn. She challenges anyone entering or leaving any of the three. She monitors all activity in the one house that is visible and especially challenges/swears at any and all delivery vehicles. From comments on a 'Doodle' group that the Princess is a member of this is 'normal' behavior. If you didn't know her, her bark and growl would be truly scary.
