Good morning and thanks for the coffee! I will be quieter today...
There is a dusting on the ground, high of 40F and then a day and night of cold single digit, and then 40's again. DS$ won his match last night and is looking forward to the weekend's dual team tournament. I wish he had more members on his HS team to fill the weight groups, but that is just not happening this year, although better than last year with only 3, lol! Enjoy the day and stay safe out there!
Good evening Cafe.
Cup of tea anyone?
Just thawing out having spent the lasr couple of hours at the allotments.
It's raining, but not hard. It's cold, but not freezing. It's windy, but not a gale.
You know, just the usual miserable British weather.
Yes, got 24 six years ago. Got another 12 a year ago to "support" the Leaf. DW drives it 70 miles a day, basically 20 kWh. FINALLY got the batteries a bit over a month ago so other than the Leaf, if the sun shines every other day we can run the house "off grid".Do you have panels?
And you keep trying to convince us that you are not a nice guyI am being rewarded for the way I have treated these folks.
If you don't need baseball bats.you know ash makes really great fire wood, don't you
He's THAT lazy? Nothing splits as easy as ash, almost falls apart with not much power behind the maul.I'd offer it to my SIL, but then he'd have to split it - that isn't going to happen.![]()
Good thing it isn't or we'd all be materializing at Sour's place at the same time! You're too far away to make a trip for wood, but if teleporting were real, I'd take it in a heartbeat!
Now Shad know why his coffee keeps disappearing.I was in stealth mode!![]()
The ones that are still there are the ones that grew up in those fierce winds. The Bristlecone pines in California are like that, some several thousand years old and really stunted. I saw them with my aunt when I was in college (yes more than a few years ago).Yes, but not really any lone standing ones. Most of them are relatively short too.
