Good morning Cafe. I've brewed a fresh pot to sip at while the dough is rising for a batch of sticky buns. I haven't made them in decades either. Lots of revisiting old parts of who I used to be.
@aart, I too hate the commercialism of the season and will not buy gifts for obligatory reasons.
I just love the feel I get when the house is decorated and I'm warm and cozy.
I feel grateful for reuniting with my sister and her family. I'll not miss any more time with them.
So it is my feeling of gratitude for my true friends and family that I celebrate this time of the year. You do whatever makes you feel happy and content.
