That went better than I expected. I now have someone who will make sure the geese get fed at night. The chickens are more complicated because to get to the feeder one has to open the run and the chickens charge out and are not really interested in going back in.

The back roads were... ok... going out. Coming home was fine, as they'd been plowed. Tomorrow might be worse, as it'll freeze tonight, and stuff is getting packed down. But I don't have to go anywhere tomorrow.

You know that little old lady in front of you, driving under the speed limit, and leaving a long space between her car and the one ahead of her? The one who starts to slow down way before the stop sign? Yup, that's me.

Well I cannot drive anymore they took the license from me with loss of vision .. Lots of time I see more than others.. Better half is excellent driver .. No matter what Mother Nature throws our way.. This time she won it is the other drivers that scare us.

Blah here today, gray and just above freezing.
Tomorrow will be 45°, think I'll get the thrower hooked up.
Supposed to get 5" on Saturday, then a week below freezing.

It's -29 C (-20.2 F) here in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Brrrrr. No wonder my bedroom feels like a refrigerator! The bird room is nice and cozy, though. Dog is snuggled behind me while the quail chatter on. They're always the first ones awake in the morning, LOL.
