We are sub-zero again this morning.

Here too. Mr. NOAA said it was going to be -3°F at 6 AM. He missed that by a couple of hours. It was -11°F and has just now made it up to -2°F. In theory we might hit 20°F later today.

We have snow coming in as well but we are warm, starting at about 10F.

All of a sudden, I am hosting Friendsgiving this Saturday. We have plenty to celebrate, as our "daughter" no longer has leukemia! She and her other "parents" are coming out, so I said, let's do it up big! I have a turkey in the freezer, and we never got together over the holidays.

So I'm gonna spend some time in the kitchen for the next couple days. And clean the house... I'd rather cook.

Good evening Cafe. I've made a pot of coffee, mainly to help keep me awake while I paint. Be on the woodwork at the weekend. Tedious job I'm not looking forward to.
Lovely sunny afternoon here with temperature around 10C although it did cool down pretty rapidly once the sun went down.
Sitting here rewiring plugs this evening. Everything electrical I brought back from Spain has two pin plugs on; in the UK the plugs are rectangular three pin.

Update started 5 ft field fence outside the old fence..
Neighbor with dog walked out. She said it was theirs but they had euthanized the dog already. She had not known birds died.. We are taking a break as old folks we deserve it.

It's a relatively balmy 23F out but the temps will be dropping again tonight to near zero with a high of 12 expected tomorrow.

Looks like we fall in the "lucky" category with our weather until around Tuesday. Glad to see it, my shovel was starting to complain.
