I reached around the corner to get one of the dust covered fake eggs I have on top of the nest boxes and my finger went through it!!

They fake eggs at TSC are blue this spring. I should get a couple of those. I don't have any blue egg layers, so it'll be obvious.

Maybe it'll freak the ladies out...

I think I've solved this riddle.
She had another accident... in the car.

I had bought a new "cover" for the custom HD foam mattress I keep in the back of the car. It's just a piece of heavy duty upholstery fabric but it was enough to protect the mattress. I cleaned the worst of the mess off with paper towels and noticed egg shell fragments in it.

A few days ago, I think it was Tuesday morning, Mallory was really being rough on an egg in the nest box so I took it from her so she didn't break it. I reached around the corner to get one of the dust covered fake eggs I have on top of the nest boxes and my finger went through it!! Holy crow! It was a real egg that I forgot all about. It had to have been sitting there for 2 months or more!! I scooped it up and tossed it into the woods. I think Bella must have gotten it late that night before the snow started.

I have some Clavamox left over from the last episode so I've started her on that.

I had a hen lay some eggs under our shed. I used a broom handle to push it out...but instead had a mini explosion!

I just put black dots on mine. Bring them in sometimes to wash they get filthy.

I didn't smell anything when my finger went through it. Of course, it's been pretty cold this winter.

The entire coop is filthy! It's due for it's annual cleaning. I usually wait until April. I need to order some hemp bedding.

Yesterday, I had to take DH for a dentist appointment, a blood draw and run some errands to pick up food and supplies. The blood draw ended up taking the most time. We waited over an HOUR for a 4 minute blood draw. I fell asleep in the waiting room.
