BYC Café

Good morning and thanks for the coffee! It has been a bit? chaotic around this place but the papers are filed for custody of the little GS so he can stay here in CO and now the judge will decide on the proper home. The snow is trying to melt but we keep getting more and it is either record cold or record warm and people are running out of firewood and panicking over their propane/electric bills.
Enjoy the day!
I'm glad to see you are okay and were just busy taking care of this sad legal business. It must have been a tough decision for you and your husband to make but it is probably the right one for your GS. I hope everything works out for the best for the little guy. Good luck.

I learned to drive stick in two lessons at a car dealer. I wanted this Toyota stationwagon, and they had it. So on my second visit, i drove it home.
I took my driving test on a stick shift. It was an adventure but I passed!

@Mtn Margie - Hugs for you! I won't go into details, but I'm (way too) familiar with court proceedings and understand how mentally, emotionally, and financially draining they are. Wishing you all the best. :)

No new calves, just a couple weeks left and life goes back to normal. (Well, normal as it can be these days...) Enjoying the quiet nights, warmer weather, and fresh coffee. I sent in a hatchery order the other day and should be picking them up in May. I'll have Muscovies after being duck-free for 7-8 years!

ETA: Also glad to read that there are other folks who didn't get their driver's license until their early twenties. I didn't get mine until 22 for several reasons, and folks who knew gave me some grief for it.
