We're supposed to be getting up to 60 today. Everything is soaking wet and muddy out there but at least the snow is melting away.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee! We are supposed to get snow, about a foot, and then foot+ on Monday. It is my DS@ =(DS2) that is in the custody proceedings but they were hanging out up here for a bit because their house is easily found on the mapping sites and they were not sure how the reaction to being served court papers instead of getting a toddler would go over. The bio-parents would have gotten the papers in AZ, but they have no home or jobs or ...

Intermittent sun right now. After lunch, I'm going to go see if I can dig up some weeds for the chickens. And maybe scrape another inch off the still-frozen compost.

Wow, it's been so long since he's done it that I had forgotten! One of my cats, Talaat, used to empty clothes drawers when he was younger. Funny but also obnoxious.

Andromeda is 3 years old now and does go through phases. She also likes to toss her mouse toys under closed doors and then asks us to open the door for her.

She is quite a character LOL!

I got a lot of stuff started yesterday. I say started, because they are long term (or not ending till fall) projects with the garden. The chickens loved their first batch of weeds!

I did a little rearranging in the run. I put the plastic chair back in and sat with the chickens for a bit. Nobody got on my lap, but that's ok. I took out the "hide behind" pallet that was leaning against one wall, since the littles aren't little anymore. I'll either deconstruct it for the wood, or save it for the next batch of chicks.
