Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

We're going to hit 70 today. I hope it will dry up some of the mud. I'm sliding all over the place out there. Right now the fog is so thick I can't see to the other side of the driveway to the raised beds.

Good afternoon Café!

I brought a freshly brewed pot, so help yourselves to it.

Nice and sunny here today, and the flock-down was finally lifted, so the chickens get to "officially" enjoy the outside world again, although I let them range on weekends and in the late afternoons anyway.
Tomorrow evening the remaining 8 virgin pullets will be moved to join their respective adult flocks and have their first encounter with the roosters.
The broody and junior coop and run will then remain empty again until the new generation will take over.
