I met this guy on the way out this morning.

We went to a new dog park this morning on the way to Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge. Both stops were wonderful.
Most of my observations were through binoculars.

I sat for about 5 minutes watching this Tundra swan take a bath.

That's his black for sticking up on the right. He was huge.

It is possible that we can make sure that the baby the bio-mom is carrying now will be born drug free and under someone's watchful eyes.

How do you do that shy of locking her up in a facility of some nature?

Chilly here today, even in the sun. I wanted to move the garden plants out of the green house yesterday, but 40 for a low last night was too mean. I got them out today. They filled up 2 large dog crates. So many tomatoes this year, so maybe all the maters I can will be home grown and I won't have to buy any at the end of the season.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

It's raining and very windy this morning. The crabs are still spawning on the beach and the tide is heading out. The weather must have something to do with it. I can't go flip them until the ones that are able to leave actually do so.

Here's another (big) pot of coffee. I feel the siren call of a nap, and I just got up! Much to do, so it's going to be a "lotta coffee" day.

Good morning! 4 inches of snow out there but not too cold. More rain and snow coming in for today and tonight and then..., high of 70F on Friday. Yes, bipolar is correct!
