BYC Café

Had a weird one this morning, never saw it before.
Mouse caught in snap trap had it jaws in a literal death grip on the trigger,
had to pry it's mouth off to get it off.

but one of her ways of expressing herself is to 'mouth' you.
Rascal was rather mouthy.....std poodle thing.
Pretty easily trained out of using it on people tho.

Also a golden thing. All three of ours liked 'holding' my hand as we walked through the house. Maggie likes to hold on to my shirt sleeve. Not a problem unless she inadvertently grabs my wrist or forearm. I hold on to the fluff of top of her head to minimize that possibility.

Good morning, Cafe', coffee is ready. Maggie is growing up. The groomer did not have to use the muzzle on her. She's not a biter, but one of her ways of expressing herself is to 'mouth' you. She has big teeth.
Yeah, i don't let dogs mouth me because it can accidentally become a chomp.

Skittles managed to whack his left knee cap on the hard plastic on the side of the folded down seat when he was jumping into the car today. He knocked his kneecap out of place. I recognized the symptoms from my own kneecap popping out of the groove. All he had to do was really push his leg out straight and it'd pop back in. By the time we got down to the fields he figured it out and he's walking around just fine now. But it was still a little nerve-racking.
